Today is the first official day of Shift You, a calendar app for hospital workers. In this article, we will walk through the features that the app has already implemented and what will implement in the near future.

Presentation app

Shift you is a modern app that generates from a scheduler all the shifts in a given period of time, and it is also possible to add a custom shift in a random order chosen by the user.

In addition, it shows an analysis of the time that remains during the period.

However, at the moment it is not possible to calculate the number of hours, but this will be available by the end of this year. So by design, the app is able to make analysis over the period and give the user a summary of all that it is taken.

We give the user the power to change at any time the scheduler. In fact, it is an option available for each day.

Now let give time to a small Q&A below:

  • Q: Where can I download the app?
  • A: You can download the app on the Google Play Store and Apple Store. All the links are at the end of the article.
  • Q: Google Login is required, why?
  • A: We are working to grow in functionality and the login with google allow us to help the user to use only one account without creating another one for Shift You (it is annoying :) ).
  • Q: Can I receive the hospital shift on my phone directly without using the paper anymore?
  • A: Technically Yes, nothing is impossible, but this is only a choice made by the Hospital. We are open to collaboration.
